Lesson from Roger

Roger Federer in super slow mo! Get the pen and paper out, so much to learn from Sir Roger in just a few minutes.

To start, lets see if he misses a split step?

Lets see if he uses a small base?

Watch how he loads his right leg when he is hitting the forehand inside out?

Have a look at how early he prepares. (Look for the shoulder turn, and then how long the ball takes to come into the frame, he is turned approximately as the ball is crossing the net)

Watch how still his head is, and how low he stays on the approach shot.

Watch the split step for the first volley, how he follows his ball, works hard to time his split for the passing shot, and then watch how concentrated on the ball he is on the finish, it looks like he wants to watch the ball bounce the seventh time before he looks away.

If everyone just focused on these lessons this week, they would improve immediately!
